Executive Personal Assistant (PA)
We are seeking an Executive Personal Assistant (PA) for a highly driven Executive who amongst other things, runs a nonprofit/non-governmental organisation (NGO), is a member of the IRCT Council, and member of the United Nations Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture (SPT).
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, communication, and strategic thinking skills to complement the Executive Director’s speed and personality and facilitate the smooth operation of both professional commitments and personal responsibilities. Candidates are also required to have the flexibility for long hours, working in multiple time zones and frequent travel.

Intermediate - Mid Level
Location:
Preference for a home location in Enugu, Nigeria or Abuja, Nigeria with opportunities for frequent domestic and international travels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the Executive Director’s calendar and appointments to ensure optimal time management.
Travel coordination including visa applications, flight & accommodation booking, and itinerary planning.
Preparation of reports, documents, presentations, and briefs - in English and French.
Coordinates with stakeholders across all areas of life and work including in PRAWA, IRCT Council, and the United Nations and facilitate effective communication.
Keeps the Executive Director updated on current affairs, especially in areas of interest.
Supports with personal errands and tasks as needed.
Management of digital files and records to ensure efficient information management.
Organises and manages events, meetings, and conferences, both locally and internationally.
Implements strategies to optimise productivity and work-life balance for the Executive Director.
Digitises the Executive Director’s life by recording/documenting and creating content for relevant online media including her website, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Wikipedia etc
Documents and analyses the feasibility of all the Executive Director’s ideas and facilitate the execution where necessary.
Ability to teach the Executive Director French and interpret and translate correspondence, documents, reports and other communication materials will be an added bonus.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Proven experience as an Executive Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in the use of digital technology for organising, information management, and virtual communication.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multitask.
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
